Indianapolis Colts QB Peyton Manning won his record-setting fourth NFL Most Valuable Player award on Saturday. Only one other player, Brett Favre, has won the award three times. Manning led the Colts to a 14-2 record, the No. 1 seed in the AFC, and an eighth consecutive playoff berth. He previously won the award in 2003, 2004, and last season.
Fantasy Take:
Manning threw for 4,500 yards and 33 touchdowns, while completing a career-high 68.8 percent of his passes this season. Statistically it was far from his best season, and other QB's such as Aaron Rodgers & Drew Brees had better numbers, but none of them had seven 4th quarter comebacks or led their teams to an NFL best record.
